Get started with Telehealth
The Yukon Telehealth Network allows patients and health care providers to connect using secure video for some health care appointments.
Depending on the appointment, you may attend from a Yukon health centre or from home using your personal device.
Telehealth can reduce the need to travel long distances for care. It does not replace in-person visits when a physical exam or emergency care is needed.
About Telehealth
Telehealth helps you access care closer to home or without travelling. The services are free for Yukoners and are available by referral from a health care provider.
The Yukon Telehealth Network offers:
- Secure and confidential video appointments
- Access to specialists unavailable locally
- Fewer trips for patients in rural and remote communities
- Options to attend from a health centre or from home, when appropriate
