What’s a ventless clothes dryer?
Traditional and ventless dryers use heated air to dry clothes. A traditional dryer exhausts the hot, moist air from the house through a vent. A ventless dryer:
- cools the air;
- condenses it; and
- collects it.
The water is removed from the dryer by a drain or tray. Ventless dryers eliminate the need for a vent penetrating through the wall of a house. This can reduce air leakage and the potential for backdrafting of emissions from fossil-fuelled heating appliances.
Retire your old refrigerator
With our refrigerator retirement program, you’re eligible for a $50 rebate when you retire a fridge that’s 10 years or older. We'll also pick up your fridge from your home and drop it off for recycling at no extra cost.
