The Yukon Lottery Appeal Board may hear an appeal by an applicant to have the terms and conditions of a lottery licence changed, to rescind a suspension of a licence by the Registrar, to rescind a revocation of a licence, or to appeal the Registrar’s refusal to licence a lottery scheme or organization to hold a lottery scheme.

How members are selected
Members are appointed by a Minister, Cabinet or the Yukon Legislative Assembly.
School board and school council members can be elected or, in some cases, appointed.

- Yukon Arts Advisory Council

Some boards and committees members are required to hold certain professional qualifications or affiliations.
