Requirements
Gas fitter
We'll issue a licence if you:
- have complied with the Trades Qualifications Regulations and hold a Trades Qualification Certificate as a gas fitter; or
- hold an equivalent certificate of competency from another jurisdiction and successfully complete the Yukon liquid propane addendum examination at Government of Yukon Department of Education for Apprenticeship and Tradesperson Qualifications.

- Fill out and submit the form.
- Pay the fee (the cost varies, depending on the class of licence).
Gas contractor
We'll issue a licence if you:
- intend to engage in the business authorized by the licence;
- furnish an insurance bond as required by the regulations; or
- are a Yukon licensed gas fitter or employ a licensed gas fitter under the appropriate class of gas contractor licence.
