There are 14 Yukon First Nations in the Yukon with their traditional territories covering all land in the Yukon. All Yukon First Nations and transboundary nations have Indigenous rights in the Yukon.
All 14 Yukon First Nations governments are important partners in the governance of the territory.
The Government of Yukon works with Yukon First Nations governments to deliver programs and services to Yukoners and manage the territory’s land and resources.
