Get a health inspection of a new food or personal services establishment

You need to get a health and safety inspection if you want to open a personal service establishment in the Yukon. This includes:

• tattoo parlours;
• massage therapy clinics;
• hair salons;
• barber shops; and
• aesthetic studios. 

How to apply

1. Complete an application for health approval.
2. Submit the completed form.

3. Once we receive your application, we'll book a pre-opening inspection.
4. During our inspection, we'll identify any health and safety issues.
5. You must correct these issues before receiving approval to operate.
6. Once you receive approval to operate, you may operate your personal service establishment.
