To ensure that these provisions are being met by the licensees, the government uses:
- training;
- education;
- dialogue;
- inspection; and
- enforcement.
The Yukon Liquor Board bylaws set out the rules and procedures the Board follows when carrying out its licensing and adjudicative responsibilities. These bylaws support the Board’s role as a quasi-judicial body by providing a transparent and consistent framework for decision-making, hearings, and appeals, and help ensure the Board operates independently and at arm’s length from the Yukon Liquor Corporation.
