The Youth Investment Fund provides financial support to short-term projects aimed at youth under 19 with fewer opportunities or who experience a form of discrimination.

Eligible programs should:
- promote self-esteem;
- encourage development of positive lifestyle choices; and
- create social or recreational opportunities.

Before starting your application, gather your supporting documents and be ready to provide the following information.
Project details
- Project name
- Applicant or organization contact information
- Project description: explain your project in detail and describe how it supports marginalized youth under 19. You can copy and paste from a prewritten document.
- Partnerships and youth leaders: include information on partnerships, youth leadership roles and required criminal record checks. Youth participants

- Number of marginalized youth involved
- The communities they come from
Budget
- How much funding you are requesting from the Youth Investment Fund
- How the funding will be used (check the guidelines — ineligible expenses will not be funded)
- Any in-kind contributions to your project
