Polling day for school board elections is November 17

Yukon voters can cast their ballots in the school board trustee elections for the First Nation School Board and the Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon on Monday, November 17.

Polling stations will be open from 3 to 8 pm on election day. Eligible electors may also vote online. Applications for online voting are available at electionsyukon.ca until 3 pm on November 17. Once approved, electors can cast their online ballot until 8 pm on November 17.

Eligible voters can find their designated polling location on the Elections Yukon website or by contacting Elections Yukon directly.

School board trustees represent their communities and help ensure that schools reflect local values, priorities and expectations. Each of the Yukon’s two school boards is governed by five elected trustees, who work with their communities to plan and oversee school operations and support student learning.
