Yukon residents interested in serving as a school board trustee for the First Nation School Board or the Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon can now submit their nomination. Elections will be held on Monday, November 17.
The nomination period runs from Friday, October 24 to Thursday, November 6.
Nomination papers are available:
- online at electionsyukon.ca; and
- from board-run schools.

The First Nation School Board operates 11 Yukon schools. The Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon operates four.

Each board is governed by five elected trustees, who work with their communities to plan and oversee school operations and support student learning.

Elections for school board trustees are held every three years.

To run for election, candidates must submit completed nomination papers before 12 pm on Thursday, November 6.

Polling day is Monday, November 17, with polls open from 3 pm to 8 pm. Locations are posted at electionsyukon.ca.
