Throughout January and February, the Government of Yukon proudly celebrates the 2025 Long Service Awards, recognizing the commitment and contributions of more than 500 public servants from 16 departments and corporations.
This year’s awards honour employees marking service milestones ranging from 10 years to 45 years. Their dedication helps deliver programs, services and supports and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of Yukoners every day. In 2025, there were 15 35-year recipients, two 40-year recipients and two 45-year recipients.
To recognize recipients, the Government of Yukon hosts four Long Service Award events. Each event brings together colleagues, leaders and guests to celebrate the achievements of employees who have devoted significant portions of their careers to public service.
Honourees represent a broad range of professions, including frontline service delivery, policy development, technical expertise, program administration, operational support and more. Their work spans every corner of the territory and contributes to a strong, responsive and innovative public service.
The Government of Yukon extends sincere thanks to all recipients for their hard work, professionalism and ongoing commitment to serving Yukoners.
Each of these employees has helped shape the territory we are so proud to call home. Their dedication, professionalism and passion for serving Yukoners strengthen our government and our communities. We are grateful for their many contributions and honoured to celebrate their years of service.
