Government of Yukon cancels existing Vendor Performance Review program

The Government of Yukon is halting the existing Vendor Performance Review program.

The Vendor Performance Review Program was designed to recognize and encourage vendors who deliver good performance on contracts and provide constructive feedback for those contractors who do not.

Stakeholder feedback identified issues and the Department of Highways and Public Works will work closely with the Yukon Contractors Association, First Nations and other partners to explore alternative approaches to supporting vendor performance and continuous improvement in procurement.

The Government of Yukon is committed to working to ensure that Yukon procurement policies are effective and translate into value for money for Yukoners.

The Government of Yukon is committed to working in collaboration with industry partners on developing alternative approaches to the existing Vendor Performance Review Program, to ensure government procurement is effective, efficient and provides opportunities for local businesses in the Yukon and value for money for Yukoners.
